About The Founder
The founding member of The Masenamela Foundation, currently Mamelodi Sundowns FC and Bafana Bafana player. Punch Masenamela was born in 17 October 1986, and grew up in Ditatsu, a village in Bochum in the Limpopo province. He started his primary school at Ditatsu where his football prowess was first spotted by the former Kaizer Chiefs palyer Mike Rapatsa while competing in the K
Motsepe tournament. After completing his grade 12, he went on to play for the Tsamaya Boys in the castle league, from there he was invited to play in the Phyllis games in Tembisa where he was spotted by former Mamelodi Sundowns player Page Mahlangu. He continued playing in the Vodacom League until he was spotted by the former Kaizer Chiefs player Abel Shongwe to join Kaizer Chiefs under Mushin Ertugral. He later joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Kaizer Chiefs in the 2011 season, he is also currently studying Safety Management (Economic and Management Science) Mr Masenamela has been and continued to be a proud and passionate about where he comes from (Limpopo) as he has become a role model among the youth in the province. Our Mission
To be able to encourage the youth to take up sport as an option to better their lives. To identify, develop and improve the lives of young kids specifically among previously disadvantaged South Africans. To empower moral regeneration in the youth through sport. To use sport to address global issues such as conflict resolution, social inclusion, health and education. Help schools to proper coaching staff and sport administration. To use sport as a vehicle to promote a violence, crime free South Africa to establish social skills training and make the youth more aware of HIV/AIDS, crime, drugs etc. Our Vision
Our vision is too identify and adopt 30 children in and around Limpopo, educate them and keep record of their development in every aspect of their lives and have proof that , with the right support and mentor-ship, those who bore the burden of poverty, with their hope wrecked and dreams shattered, given a chance they too can stand out with their heads held high.
