| Communities have a pivotal influence in building a safer, more equal South Africa. During the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, we are called to confront the behaviours, norms, and customs that allow gender harm to continue.

Take action: report abusers, commit to non-violence, support survivors, protect children—online and offline, and challenge practices that undermine dignity. Strengthen policies in homes, workplaces, and community spaces, and foster open dialogue that drives real change.

When each of us plays our part, these 16 days become more than a campaign, they become a catalyst for lasting transformation.

| As the examination season enters its final days, candidates are encouraged to review their remaining subjects and set out a clear plan for each. Focusing on high-value sections and returning to study methods that have worked well throughout the year can provide structure and confidence. A steady, well-guided approach helps candidates remain grounded and maintain control as they progress toward the end of the exam period.
