We recognise that empowering women goes beyond celebrating their achievements. It means creating spaces where women are respected, heard, protected and given equal opportunities to learn, participate and lead.

Through our work in civic education, Ubuntu and the prevention of GBVF, ACEF remains committed to supporting communities where every woman and girl can live with dignity, safety and equality.

Through our GBVF prevention, Ubuntu and voter education programmes, young people are learning, engaging and becoming active participants in building safer and stronger communities.

Leadership begins with a single conversation, and every campus we visit brings us one step closer to creating a generation that is informed, empowered and ready to lead South Africa forward.

The GBVF Prevention and Voter Education Campaign Programme was successfully hosted at Ingwe TVET College, Maluti Campus in KwaBhaca, Eastern Cape, on 10 June 2026.

The programme brought together students, government representatives, civil society organisations and community stakeholders to engage on issues affecting young people and their communities.

Through meaningful knowledge-sharing, the initiative contributed to empowering and inspiring young people to become active and responsible citizens.

Our programme continues as we travel to Ingwe TVET College, Maluti Campus in the Eastern Cape.

Students will have an opportunity to explore important social and civic topics that contribute to nation-building.

Together, we are building informed, responsible and active citizens across South Africa.
