Today, the KDL Footprints visited Driehoek Primary School, as part of our continued commitment to supporting inclusive educational activities and empowering young minds. The visit, led by its Patron, Ms Kedibone Lebea, the Footprints Principal, Mr Moloto Rasebotsa, and the Regional Secretary of the African National Congress in Norman Mashabane, Cde Sonia Maswanganyi, saw the first leg of the Patron's Birthday Literacy Drive Program.

The purpose of the visit was to instill and strengthen the culture of reading, and build a literacy nation, while donating books, dignity packs, and school shoes, to support teaching and learning activities in the School. We believe that education remains one of the most powerful tools for transformation, dignity, and opportunity for the young minds.

Every child, regardless of their circumstances or abilities, deserves access to quality learning resources and an environment that nurtures their potential. Through this small but meaningful contribution, we hope to inspire a love for reading, learning, and lifelong personal growth.

As the Patron wisely observed, “An empowered mind...Moulds Tomorrow.” These timeless words continue to guide our efforts, as we invest in the future of our children.

We extend our heartfelt and sincere appreciation to the School Management Team, Educators, and Learners, for their warm welcome and dedication to creating a supportive learning environment. Together, we can build a society where every child is valued, empowered, and given the opportunity to succeed.
