The 2nd of November is fast approaching. As the entire The Bigg Pull Production Team is preparing for the pull. We must be reminded that the core values of this initiative are to please and honour the Lord.

The mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health of every athlete participating reminds us of Obedience over Emotion.

Do what honors God, even when your emotions pull in the opposite direction.
Your feelings will eventually catch up to your obedience - just keep following Jesus.
That's growth. This exactly what we wish Mapula Colin as the days are nearing. When the body wants to tap out, may the mind be able to keep you in the race!

Mapula Colin and Roy (the power couple) were in the neighbourhood and decided to drop by the baby house to say Hi! 👋🏾 ❤️

What meaningful and beautiful gesture by these two. Their motivation behind nominating child protection organisations as their Charity of Choice truly cements their commitment in ensuring that children remain protected, safe and most importantly, that they are loved. 🥰

They are firm believers in children being the beacon of hope (tomorrow). We are rooting for you both on the journey you are about to embark on.

Ngwana House is incredibly privileged to be one of the 20 charitable organisations represented by The Bigg Pull this year.

20 people.

Over the next few weeks, we are going to bring you closer to Ngwana House and take you along on this incredible journey.

Public Notice:
Please note that Ngwana House will be taking appointments for an hour per group for Mandela Day.

As the actual day is on a Saturday, the house will be accommodating organisations, companies, churches, groups and any other interested parties from Friday the 17th of July till Saturday the 18th of July 2026.

Appointments can be secured on WhatsApp. Please text Sandra on 078 451 1216 . Specify where you are from, the number of people who intend on coming and which date and time is best suited for you.

As child protection week comes to an end today, our hope is that as society we make it our mission to protect children and ensure that their safety is not compromised at any point.

Child Protection Week serves as a reminder that every child deserves to grow up in an environment free from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence.

A lot of abuse is done in silence and or children are silenced. Adults have the responsibility to report abuse to authorities and support children who have been abused.

Protecting children is everyone’s responsibility. By working together as families, communities, schools, and organisations, we can create safer spaces where every child can thrive.
