Cat carriers needed.
The feisty feline furrballs are carried in cat baskets between the office, the Clinic and the cattery.
And the Inspectors keep cat carriers in our vehicles to safely transport cats.
If you perhaps have a cat carrier that you can generously donate to us, please drop it off at the Spca or at the Charity Shop.

Join this very worthy cause to make a difference to the animals during the cold winter months.
One item every Spca will never have enough of, is dog and catfood. Feeding homeless, abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals, is a mammoth task!
Contact any of the organisers on the posts, if you can contribute, or if you want to be involved in this incredibly exciting event.
The Limpopo Bikers's clubs will do the drop-off at the Spca Polokwane on the 4th of July 2026.

We received a mountain of industrial carpets, some brand new, from Rebtex carpets.
Some of these carpets will be available at our Charity Shop. Make sure you pay them a visit if you are interested in these carpets, and in purchasing these carpets and any other items from our Charity Shop outside Savannah Mall, you make a difference in the lives of animals in our care.
All the funds generated from contributions made by you, that are sold at the Charity Shop, are used for our daily operational expenses.
These include fuel, vehicle maintenance, animal feed, maintenance of our very large premises, and medical expenses, to name just a few.

Adele van der Linde and Nicolien Stapelberg, are no strangers to the Spca.
We got so much support from these ladies to make lives easier in the kennels.
They got a few ladies together to help knit and crochet blankets for cats, dogs and even donkeys.

The Siemelink family adopted one of our beautiful feline furrballs.
His very apropriate name is Mighty Mogi, to match his confident attitude.

Reunited!
Angel is a blind old girl, and when someone opened her gate late in the afternoon, while her owner was at work, she wandered into the street.
Vehicles had to swurve to avoid hitting her, which made her panic even more. A good Samaritan decided to face the dangerous situation, and got out of her car to carry Angel out of the road. She asked around if anyone knew where Angel belonged and when she couldn't find anyone, she took Angel to the Spca.
Angel slept one night only, because her frantic owner made contact early the following day, and Angel went home.
Needless to say, both were extremely happy to be reunited.

Adopted.
The Dube family adopted little Nala. It is the second dog they've adopted from us, and Nala will share the loving home with another Jack Russel.
We are so happy that Nala found a family that she wants to be with.
She has been in the kennels for a long time, because we knew there as someone oit there who would give her a chance to start the next chapter of her life.
Happy days are here Nala!
