Every Yabonga story matters. 🧡🌸 Ibali lomntwana wethu 🌱 :

“I joined Yabonga in 2015. I am very grateful for the role it has played in my life. When I arrived, my life changed greatly because it showed me the right path and helped me progress and succeed in life.

I appreciate the care, support, and education that I received. Thank you for encouraging me and helping me become the person I am today.

The path I chose to improve myself:

Reading books and listening to music.

My future goals:

I want to become a Mechanical Engineer.

My favourite Yabonga activity:

Playing soccer.”

If you have ever been part or are currently part of any of our programmes we would love to hear where life has taken you.

Send us a private message and share your journey, your story could inspire someone else.

We extend our sincere gratitude to for their generosity, partnership, and commitment to developing community coaches. Your support is helping create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and thrive both on and off the field.

Through sport, we build more than athletic ability, we build confidence, leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

💙 Men’s Health Month | June 2026

This Men’s Health Month, our young men and boys are using their voices to raise awareness about an important message: it’s okay to talk about your mental health.

Too often, stigma prevents men and boys from reaching out when they are struggling. Strength is not about suffering in silence, strength is knowing when to ask for help, speak up, and support one another.

Amadoda namakhwenkwe nawo afuna inkxaso. Ukuthetha kuyanceda.

Let’s encourage regular health check-ups, open conversations, and supportive communities where men and boys feel safe to seek help when they need it. 🤝💙

Remember: you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.
