Last week Saturday, we had the privilege of giving back to our community by painting the home of one of our community members. 🎨🏠

This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to restoring dignity, creating safe living spaces, and bringing hope where it’s needed most. What may seem like a simple coat of paint can make a powerful difference in someone’s life.

A big thank you to our dedicated team who showed up with energy, teamwork, and passion. Your efforts continue to prove that real change starts with us.

Together, we are building a stronger, cleaner, and more united community. 💪

Youth for Change kicked off our first campaign of the year on Saturday by painting the container that we’re converting into our future offices. This space will grow with us as we continue refurbishing it step by step.

A big thank you to Ina Olivier for sponsoring the paint and brushes. We appreciate the support from our local community in Plettenberg Bay. It makes a real difference.

We’re still looking for assistance with items on the attached list. If you can help, please reach out.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE

Late last year, a good Samaritan donated a shipping container (image 1) for us to convert into our own office.

This is a big win after years of trying, and it gives our NPO a proper base for governance, records, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. It feels like we have reached a real milestone.

We would like to express our gratitude to the “good Samaritan’’ for their selfless and generous donation. It is gestures like these that restores our faith and hope in the community.

In addition, we have also managed to secure a temporary location for the office. Our long-term goal is to secure space where we can be able to conduct our activities, where it be easily accessible to the community it benefits. But we are also grateful to the local business that has allowed us to temporarily occupy the space until we get to our goal. Hopefully someone is reading this and will direct us to the right doors?! 🤞

We would further like to appeal to the public assist us by extending their hand by donating the following operational items that will help us be functional. Prospective donors can either donate the listed items (image 2) or can donate monetary support to the bank details (image 3).

To our community partners and prospective donors, No item or amount is too little - please do support us with what you have, and we will very much appreciate it.

NB: For more information you can directly contact our Chairperson Innocent on 082 887 1636 or our Secretary Zukisani 062 243 2930.

Plett family

We are Youth for Change, a community organisation based here in Plettenberg Bay, working hard to make a real difference in our town.

We have been actively involved in:

🏠 Painting houses for the elderly
🧹 Cleaning illegal dumping areas
🤝 Supporting and uplifting our community
As part of our next project, we are planning to:
✅ Paint 5 houses for elderly residents
✅ Clean 2 illegal dumping sites
✅ Establish 3 food gardens to support families in need

We are kindly asking for your support, Plett family. We need assistance with:
- Paint
- Brushes and painting equipment

Any donations that can help us complete these projects

Your contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference. Together we can build a cleaner, safer and more caring Plettenberg Bay.

If you would like to assist, please inbox us.

Let’s stand together for our community.
