✨ Back at it — and loving what we’re seeing!
Today we returned to Wittedrift Primary for a follow-up meeting after introducing reusable period panties to their students a few months ago. The results? 🌟 Confidence is up, absenteeism is down, and students are feeling EMPOWERED. 💖
Seeing the long-term impact of access to sustainable, stigma-free menstrual products reminds us why we do this work. This isn’t just about periods — it’s about dignity, education, and equity.
Thank you to the school staff, students, and community for embracing this change and showing us what’s possible when we invest in young people. 🩸📚🌍

🌸 Hope Rising SA Outreach 🌸

Last week, the Hope Rising SA team visited Phakamisani to chat with the girls about period health and awareness. It was an impactful and eye-opening session, reminding us just how important education and support are in breaking the stigma around menstrual health.

A heartfelt thank you to Natasha Pells-Gibson for her incredibly informative and empowering talk — the girls were inspired and encouraged! 💜

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to for their generous donation of sanitary pads. Your support is helping us make a real difference in the lives of these young girls. 🙏

Today, we were reminded once again that period poverty is a real and urgent issue. Many girls are in desperate need of basic essentials, and without our collective support, they face challenges that affect their dignity, confidence, and education.
