WEATHER UPDATE FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES

NOT NORMAL FOR PRRA TO SHARE WEATHER NEWS, BUT HERE GOES. Good chance it may or may materialize. Follow all your normal sources for news. AND as shared on the PRRA INFO HUB WhatsApp CHANNEL.

In addition to the existing advisories issued by SAWS, they have now also elevated the warning to *orange level 8 for disruptive rainfall* from Sunday evening into Monday, 11 May.

The warning for damaging winds is *orange level five* for the same period.

Please secure loose items, clear drainage channels where possible and stay tuned to official updates.

For emergencies, call 107 from a landline or 021 480 7700 from a cellphone.

SO FOR PINELANDS:
1. Avoid low lying streets for driving.
2. Re you animals: keep then safe and warm.
3. Homes already struggling with flooding, whatever the cause, take precautions.
4. Make sure nothing outside that can be wind battered.
