Humanity Organisation for People's Empowerment HOPE-NGO is serving the less fortunate people of the Greater Pietermaritzburg assisting with I.D. & social grants,counselling,home-based care & nutrition.

It was founded on 08 January1985 by Miss Mpume Shange , Miss Bongiwe Mbeje , Mr Simphiwe Xulu , Mr Jabulani Nzuza , Mr Bongani Nkosi and Mr Vusimuzi Ndlovu from Khoffie Road , Edendale in an area affectionately known as Sigingqini.

Education has the power to transform a child's future. In Edendale , Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal Province where many families cannot afford school fees, uniforms, meals or basic supplies, your support helps remove the barriers that stand between a child and their chance to learn.⁠
