NEXT-GEN INSTITUTE OF EXCELLENCE FC ACQUIRES HOLLYWOOD BETS MEN’S LEAGUE FRANCHISE.

Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal Next-Gen Institute of Excellence FC, formerly known as PSD Academy, is proud to announce the acquisition of a Hollywood Bets Men’s League franchise.

This milestone marks a major step forward in our vision to provide competitive football pathways for youth in our region and beyond.
The establishment of the new franchise will significantly broaden advancement opportunities for players while strengthening NEXT-GEN FC's commitment to nurturing God-fearing leaders who are equipped to succeed in faith, skills development, education and sport.

Chairman Peter Petersen said:
“We are excited about this new chapter. We look forward to the growth ahead and an amazing 2026/27. Keep an eye out for the upcoming Hollywood Bets trial dates. Good day to our Next Gen Institute of Excellence family,

As we transition into the second half of the year, we welcome positive changes and the discipline that comes with them.

Our players are resting and enjoying the World Cup. Congratulations to Bafana Bafana on their historic knockout-stage qualification — you’ve made the nation proud. Special mention to Mbokazi, my South African player of the tournament.
