The Salvation Army-Joseph Baynes Child and Youth Care Centre This work is made possible through the help of the community and the support of donors.

The Salvation Army Joseph Baynes CYCC, a Christian organization, has cared for 80 abandoned and orphaned children, from infants to 18 years old, for over 100 years.

Today, our children learned that kindness can fit inside a box.

For our Winter Drive, we prepared and personally handed out meal packs to members of the homeless community in our town. β„οΈπŸ’›

Each pack was filled not only with food, but with love, care and a personal touch.
Using painted handprints and heartfelt messages, the children transformed ordinary meal boxes into reminders that someone cares.

For many of our children, this was more than an activity. It was an opportunity to understand the importance of compassion, dignity and giving back to others.

Sometimes the greatest lessons are not learned in a classroom but through serving others. Today, our children discovered that even small hands can make a big difference. πŸ’›
