Siyabonga Helping Hands, a Non-Profit Organization, has a vacancy for a Centre Programme Co-Ordinator at the Esigodini Education Centre.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the effective and efficient day to day management of the staff and operations.
Requirements include:
A matric with a post-matric qualification
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent written and communications skills
Ability to lead and motivate
Attention to detail
Computer literacy
Previous supervisory experience essential Fluency in isiZulu essential Duties include but not limited to:
Act as a member of a multidisciplinary team together with the office, Education Consultant and Social Workers to achieve the organization’s objectives
Mentor, motivate and lead staff in line with organization practices
Lead by example, uphold and enforce organization policies and rules
Ensure daily activities are carried out as per schedule (excluding educational programme)
Hold site meetings
Ensure resources are allocated for various operations
Maintain centre assets and asset register
Monitor attendance, leave and productivity, initiate corrective measures, where necessary
Maintain HR documentation and forward necessary documentation to the office
Ensure that the centre is neat and presentable for visitors, tourists, donors and children
Ensure site health and safety
Ensure that the site diary is maintained
Ensure stock-takes are done on a regular basis
Liaise with stakeholders – community, parents, schools and other third parties
Attend management meetings and execute action items from these meetings As an NGO supporting vulnerable children, Siyabonga requires police clearance from all prospective employees.
