To the boss who gives us the freedom to innovate—and doesn't ask too many questions about how much coffee we consume. We appreciate you!

An inspiring spirit filled the air at the Reading Cup Competition as the learners from Open Gate Special School took to the stage! 📚✨

Demonstrating immense determination and talent, our readers delivered fantastic performances that captivated the audience—proving that physical and learning impairments are never a barrier to excellence.

Bringing Autism Awareness to the Stage
Our autistic learners brought a profoundly moving dimension to the event. Through their chosen reading extracts, they illuminated their unique perspectives, bringing vital autism awareness to every listener in the room. Their courage to share their voices transformed the competition into a platform for understanding, empathy, and true connection. 💙

Claiming Their Space with Confidence
Seeing how seamlessly and confidently our learners fitted into the official program was deeply heartwarming. They truly belonged on that stage, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their peers and claiming their space with pride. Every word spoken and every page turned reflected the dedicated effort they put into preparing for this day. 🌟

We could not be prouder of their accomplishments and the consistent steps forward they continue to make every single day. This triumph serves as a powerful reminder: never underestimate our learners. Their unwavering willingness to learn, grow, and succeed ensures that they will take their rightful place in society—inspiring everyone around them to see ability before disability. ❤️
