Hi Friends. Thank you for continuing to support the Outreach work Philip & I do. Please may I ask, if any of you are having a clear out of used toys, adults or children's clothing, childrens books, bags, ANY KIND OF BALL or sports equipment, stationery, etc, please consider donating it for our annual Christmas Party in Elandskop in mid December? I would need those items by end Nov to pack. I'm in Hayfields if you'd like to deliver but can also arrange collection. Any non perishable food items are always very welcome. Please remember we DO NOT deal in cash. If you would like to make a donation, please contact me for the bank details of THE ROTARY CLUB OF PIETERMARITZBURG AZALEA. Please also remember our many residents in Homes for The Aged. If you would like to donate toiletries, treats or non perishable eats of any kind, let me know. Our Rotary Club distributes about 350 small gifts annually to less privileged residents in Homes for the Aged in PMB each Christmas. Thanks Friends. Remember, I don't ask for money - if anyone says they are me & asks for money, it is not me! The only funds we would accept would go through the authorised bank account! Thank you SO much! Be Blessed! ❤️

URGENT
LOOKING FOR FARM TO RENT LONG TERM

This afternoon we received a message from the dog shelter who assisted us that we have to remove our dogs off the premises by the end of August.

We were lent a piece of land to build 8 enclosures last year.

Our supporters helped us with materials to build the enclosures to keep our dogs safe.
We have provided food, labour and anything else over this period.

Our dogs are not soccer balls to be thrown from pillar to post.
They need stability and security in their lives.

We are urgently looking for a farm to rent on a long term lease and perhaps with the option of purchasing.
At this point we cannot be fussy about area, but we also need to be practical.

The farm must have the following:

- most importantly be animal zoned or potentially be able to make an application
- a liveable 3 bedroom home
- water and electricity
- be able to erect kennel facilities for our dogs
- be fully fenced

WhatsApp 0624368810 if you can assist.

Unfortunately, rentals seem to be few and far between and there are moser farms to purchase.

Most of our dogs at this location are young male and female dogs, medium size and all mostly under 4 years of age.

If you are wanting to adopt a young adult dog, please whatsapp 0624368810.

If we cannot secure a property, even though we are a “pro life” rescue, we will be left with no choice, but to put our dogs to sleep.

We are hopeful that something will come to light, before pts becomes a reality.

We know that people will scorn us for this, but we are left with no option and sadly it’s always the animals that suffer.

Please share our post, all our dogs don’t deserve to suffer, they deserve homes and a happy life with their families.

Thank you 🐶

Calling on
We’re looking for a small favour from anyone travelling from South Africa to the United States, ideally the West Coast. If you have spare baggage allowance, we’d really appreciate help taking an extra item with you. A team member in the US will collect the items.

Each item: • Weighs under 8.5 kg

• Is securely packaged and wrapped
• Has been safely transported on airlines many times as checked oversized luggage
• Is completely safe and supports our work

This is a charity request, so we’re not able to offer payment. With shipping costs being so high, this kind of help makes a real difference.

We have four items (or at least two) that need to reach our team in the U.S. If you’re able to assist, please get in touch.”
