Please help me get back on track 🙏

We've had a lot of Avian Flu the past years and I've not been able to get any layer culls, I think possibly the big contacts get preference.

Does anyone know a farmer or 3 who would be willing to let me purchase some culls? I'm not asking for all of them. Even 20 or 40 would make my heart happy.

I am happy to take birds with broken wings and legs, I will personally have them vet treated by my amazing Avian vets

They so deserve a good retirement and there are great homes out there willing to adopt ❤️❤️

A long overdue update from the Homestead!

I have been very quiet with sharing on my business and NPO pages. Life has thrown a few curve balls and there never seem to be enough hours in a day!

Work here continues regardless. Many mouths to feed and care for every day. Never ending coop, enclosure and pond cleaning. Medicines and therapy where needed and visits to my wonderful vets, home away from home!

I will be posting some updates and thank yous over the next few weeks. I'm incredibly blessed to have such wonderful support throughout my journey into rescue and sanctuary. In a perfect world, I could do this full time but such is life that we must work to enable us to give back ❤️

Pictured below is Rose who came in for sanctuary after surviving being tossed into the ocean as a sacrifice. Dear Aine kindly picked her up and took her into her home to recover. She then came through to me for a permanent place to relax in comfort and live the life that she truly deserves 🥰

I am looking for one youngster to come and join me for one day and one night on my small holding in ASHBURTON, KZN in the month of September. Date to be confirmed.

Duties include coop cleaning, feeding, deworming and any other necessary care of chickens. I would love to share my knowledge and will need a second set of hands for the Spring maintenance program.

Lunch, dinner, breakfast and refreshments provided. There is no cost involved.
