The state of Pan-Africanism is being disrupted by issues around illegal immigration.
I live in South Africa am a South African but I don't have anything tangible to say right now.
We all know it's wrong to be an illegal in any country right?
So, South Africans are still trynna find out how did the people that obtained refugee status got citizenships.
Don't shoot me please, I'm one man confused, because I support Pan-Africanism in all its form, but it's also true that countries like South Africa need to be given a chance to make its own mistakes as it only received freedom 32 years ago.
We still have our own issues with white people, differences that we need to sort out because we are a people that believes in Humanity, Ubuntu, Mandela did not retaliate when our grandparents expected him to.
That's what makes Ubuntu, and speaking for myself, I don't hate my fellow African brothers and sisters but I have seen patterns of hate from them towards us in South Africa.
Soz in that light, we all need to reflect and ask ourselves damning questions...do we really consider South Africans our brothers and sisters? It so, do we work with them, do we teach each other things one culture has strength on? Or we just want to come out as the strong and smart one?
Let's think and reflect...
Peace ✌🏾
