As always - it was a wonderful, fun, joyful event celebrating the ComradesMarathon Race4Charity achievements. An incredible R878 432 was raised for Early Childhood Development. Our Annual ComradesMarathon Race4Charity Thank You Event - always a wonderful time with our amazing Superheroes!

There is something incredibly special about the Comrades Marathon. It is far more than a race. It is a reminder of what is possible when thousands of people unite behind a common purpose.

This year, the Community Chest Race4Charity campaign raised an incredible R878 432 to support Early Childhood Development centres across KwaZulu-Natal. These funds will help provide under-resourced children with the nutrition, education and social skills they need during the most important years of their development.

Every donation tells a story. Behind every rand is a runner who trained before sunrise, a donor who chose to give, a volunteer who gave their time and supporters who cheered every step of the way.

Congratulations to Mahesh Ratanjee, who was once again the campaign's highest fundraiser, raising an outstanding R304 002. His dedication shows what is possible when passion meets purpose.

Thank you to every runner, donor, volunteer, supporter and the Comrades Marathon Association for making this campaign another remarkable success.

With the historic 100th Comrades Marathon taking place in 2027, we look forward to welcoming even more superheroes to help change the lives of children across KwaZulu-Natal.

The finish line marks the end of a race, but for thousands of children, your generosity is helping to create a brighter beginning.
