Breakthru Community Action BCA was set up in August 2007 after a process of the church realising it would like to be more intentional in its social ministry outreach.

Breakthru Community Action (BCA) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation, registered with the Department of Social Development (NPO063-415NPO), which is linked to Breakthru Church International (BCI) located at 43 Boom Street, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The church decided to establish an NGO, a separate legal entity, which would be able to work in the community and c

ontribute to preventing the degradation of the neighbourhood as well as making the neighbourhood a better place in which to live.

During WWII, women wore red lipstick as a sign of resilience and strength in the midst of hard times.

Standing on the shoulders of those women, this year as WOH we go RED as a sign of our own strength, courage, and unity. We wear red to encourage those women and children affected by abuse not to be silent and to make their voices heard!
