Agape Foundation For Community Development,in partnership with GCIS, extends sincere appreciation to all participants, community leaders, stakeholders, and volunteers who joined the Peaceful Walk Against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide held on Friday, 07 August 2026.

We stand together under the call to SILENCE GBV. UPLIFT WOMEN. BUILD SAFE COMMUNITIES.
The program concluded with a prayer session and candlelight vigil in remembrance of victims of Gender-Based Violence and Femicide.

Your presence reaffirms that as a community, we choose awareness, compassion, action, and change.
We remain committed to supporting survivors, strengthening prevention efforts, and promoting dignity and safety for all women and children.

Young People Attend Democracy Education Session 🇿🇦

Young people from the community came together today, 27 July 2026, for a Democracy Education Session held at the Agape Foundation Premises, Church Building next to Mohaladitwe and Makoane Schools.

The session focused on:
- Understanding democratic principles
- The role of Parliament
- The importance of active citizen participation

Facilitated by Pulane Mahlasela, Public Education Practitioner, the session also featured:
- Mr Moloi from Thabo Mofutsanyana District IEC, who spoke on voter education, the electoral process, and youth participation in democracy.
- Mr Piet Ntema, Community Development Worker (CDW), who thanked stakeholders and youth for attending and encouraged them to make use of Civil Society Organizations to improve their lives.
- Mr Moloi, Leader of the Agape Foundation, who urged young people to take part in similar initiatives, grow, and apply for job opportunities in Parliament and the IEC.

The session formed part of ongoing efforts to empower young people with knowledge and tools to engage meaningfully in governance and community development.

🌿 EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING CAMP 2026 | GROWING • LEARNING • LEADING

Our 4-day Experiential Learning Camp(5-8 July 2026) successfully empowered young people with essential life skills through hands-on learning and personal development.

A key focus was Emotional Intelligence (EQ). Learners were equipped to:
✓ Understand and manage their emotions
✓ Build healthy relationships
✓ Communicate effectively
✓ Make responsible decisions

Combined with sessions on Mental Health, Leadership, Crime Prevention, Substance Abuse, and Teamwork, the camp inspired learners to become resilient, confident, and responsible leaders in their schools and communities.

Together, we are shaping emotionally intelligent leaders for a better tomorrow.

Great Milestone for Agape Foundation for Community Development!

On 20 May 2026 , we received formal Accreditation Certification for our organisation (Diversion Services) and for the Ziyajika/U-Turn Early Intervention Programme , endorsed by the MEC of the Department of Social Development, Free State.

This accreditation status confirms that our programmes meet provincial standards and comply with the Children’s Act 38 of 2005 and DSD service delivery requirements.

Thank you to our team, partners, and community for your support in making this possible. We remain committed to delivering quality, accredited services to the children and families we serve.
