Great Milestone for Agape Foundation for Community Development!

On 20 May 2026 , we received formal Accreditation Certification for our organisation (Diversion Services) and for the Ziyajika/U-Turn Early Intervention Programme , endorsed by the MEC of the Department of Social Development, Free State.

This accreditation status confirms that our programmes meet provincial standards and comply with the Children’s Act 38 of 2005 and DSD service delivery requirements.

Thank you to our team, partners, and community for your support in making this possible. We remain committed to delivering quality, accredited services to the children and families we serve.

Agape Foundation | UFS Qwaqwa Campus Tour – Post Event Report

On Thursday, Agape Foundation organized an educational campus tour to the University of the Free State Qwaqwa Campus for our beneficiaries and learners from Ntebohiseng Primary School, our partner institution.

The visit provided students with the opportunity to explore academic facilities, engage with the university environment, and gain valuable insight into post-school study pathways.

Programme of the Day:
11:30 – 12:00 | Campus Orientation
12:05 – 12:30 | Library Visit
13:00 – 14:45 | Science Laboratory Session – Including AI Visual Demonstration
14:55 – 15:30 | Computer Laboratory Session

Freedom Month Youth Dialogue | Molapo Secondary School | 21 April 2026 🇿🇦

Today we connected Freedom Day to real learner issues — education, safety, and jobs. As we build up to 27 April, our learners are asking: What does freedom mean for us now?

Our programme had 2 parts: First, stakeholders shared services available to youth. Second, learners led their own dialogue — by youth, for youth. Proudly facilitated by Agape Foundation for Community Development in partnership with GCIS.

Agape Foundation For Community Development (AFCD) is dedicated to transforming the lives of youth, families, and communities through sustainable social development programmes. Operating in communities facing poverty, crime, unemployment, substance abuse and social exclusion.Agape Foundation provides a comprehensive set of interventions including, psychosocial support, crime prevention, empowerment and life skills training.

This Strategic Plan outlines AFCD’s key priorities for 2026–2030, centred on strengthening organisational capacity, expanding youth-focused programming, improving community safety, supporting families, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
