Back-to-School Shoe Distribution – Ndwedwe

The Ishwar and Laila Mangaroo Foundation Trust, in partnership with the amaKhosi of Ndwedwe, successfully hosted a Back-to-School initiative aimed at supporting learners in need.

A total of 70 learners from 7 schools across Ndwedwe received brand-new school shoes. The initiative was implemented to help improve school attendance, restore dignity, and ensure that learners are better prepared for the academic year.

The collaboration with the amaKhosi played a vital role in identifying deserving beneficiaries and strengthening community engagement. Their involvement ensured that support reached the learners who need it most.

This initiative forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to education and community upliftment, recognising that access to basic school essentials can make a meaningful difference in a child’s educational journey.

The Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to all stakeholders involved in making this initiative a success.

Wozamoya High School Borehole Complete 💧

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the borehole installation at Wozamoya High School in Hammarsdale.

This project is a significant milestone in the Ishwar and Laila Mangaroo Foundation Trust’s ongoing efforts to support initiatives that bring safe, clean water to schools. Access to water remains a critical need in many of our communities, and this is a step in the right direction.
