Congratulations to the Matric Class of 2025! πŸŽ‰

Today we celebrate you - your courage, your perseverance, and the journey that brought you here. No matter what your results say, you showed up and gave it your best, and that matters deeply.

To those who passed, congratulations! Be proud of this achievement. Continue to pursue your dreams, stay focused, and keep working hard. Your future still needs your commitment and discipline.

And to those who did not get the results you hoped for, please know that these results do not define your worth, your intelligence and your future. There is a second-chance to rewrite your matric and other pathways that are still open to you.

Your journey continues, and we believe in you πŸ‘

πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦ National Day of Reconciliation
Healing the past. Building the future.

Today, we pause to honour the spirit of unity, understanding, and peace. The National Day of Reconciliation reminds us that despite our different backgrounds and histories, we share one country, one future, and a shared responsibility to create a South Africa where every voice is heard and every person is valued.

At Ukhanyo Foundation, we believe in the power of education, compassion, and community to bridge divides and build a nation rooted in dignity and respect.

May this day inspire us to continue working together β€” healing, learning, and uplifting one another.

🌍 WE WERE ONCE THEM x UKHANYO FOUNDATION
πŸ“ Philippi, South Africa

Ukhanyo Foundation had the privilege of hosting We Were Once Them, an organisation committed to giving back and empowering young people. Their visit was more than a gesture it was a powerful reminder of the impact that collaboration and community can make.

They generously supported our Matric Second Chance Programme with essential learning materials, including quires and quire books, a paper box with rims, foldable tables, chairs, rulers, Casio calculators, pens, and pencils. These resources will directly strengthen the learning environment for our students as they work toward rewriting their futures.

On Saturday, we concluded the visit with an inspiring event for our students β€” filled with motivation, encouragement, and meaningful conversations about resilience and opportunity.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to We Were Once Them for their generosity, leadership, and commitment to youth development. Partnerships like these bring us closer to our mission of Breaking the Cycle of Poverty through education and support.

Together, we rise.
