✏️ **From the Principal’s Desk** ✏️

🥛🐄 **Theme of the Week: Milk and Milk Products** 🧀🥛

This week, our learners explored the wonderful world of **milk and milk products**! We learned about where milk comes from and the many different products that can be made from it, such as cheese, yoghurt, butter and cream. 🐄🥛

Through our activities, the children had the opportunity to learn, colour, create and discover while having lots of fun along the way. 🎨✨ Learning about everyday things in a practical and meaningful way helps our learners connect what happens in the classroom with the world around them.

🤡🎈 **And then there is our little clown!**

Our clown has finally got his **clothes on and his ball back**! 🎪🤹‍♂️ He is looking much more like himself now and is ready for some fun.

His little friend, **Mr Rob**, is still on his way… 🚗💨 So we are patiently waiting to see what adventures these two little characters will get up to together!

It has been another week filled with learning, creativity, laughter and a little bit of clowning around! 💛🌸

Growing Together

At Frangipani School, we are building more than just a vegetable garden. We are creating a space where our learners can learn, participate, nurture and experience the joy of watching something grow.

This project has been made possible through the generosity of people and organisations who believe in our children.

A heartfelt thank you to Robert and Sabina from the Netherlands, who have once again supported Frangipani in such a meaningful way. After previously giving their time and talent to paint our school and create beautiful murals, they have now sponsored the protective cage for our vegetable garden.

We are also incredibly grateful to Harrop Fencing, who contributed towards the fencing of the garden. And in Phalaborwa, we all know why that cage is so important. Our local monkeys have developed quite an appreciation for a freshly planted vegetable garden, so this little bit of protection may be the difference between a successful harvest for our learners and an unexpected feast for our furry neighbours!

A special thank you to Rozelda Sealie and Laeveld Agrochem, through LAC Cares, for donating our summer and winter seed packs. With the seeds, the protection and the garden coming together, we are now ready to start growing.

Every contribution, whether it is time, materials, expertise or seeds, brings us one step closer to creating something meaningful for our learners.

This is what community looks like. People from different places, businesses and individuals coming together to help create opportunities for our children.

Kindness knows no borders, and together we are growing something wonderful.

🌼🐾 Meet Daisy! 🐾🌼

We have a very special new member of the Frangipani family! 💚

Please meet Daisy, our beautiful rescue dog. 🐶💕

Daisy has found her forever home with us, and she is already getting plenty of love and attention from our children and staff.

We are so excited to watch her settle into her new home and become part of all the little moments that make Frangipani special. 🥰

🎨 A Day of Teamwork & Community 💚💛

What a wonderful day at Frangipani School! 🌸

Our amazing parents and staff came together to paint, repair and brighten up our playground, creating a happier space for our children to play and enjoy. 🎨🛠️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who gave their time, energy and helping hands. We truly appreciate each and every one of you! ❤️

And of course, we ended the day the best way possible... with a braai! 🔥🇿🇦
Pap, wors and tomato & onion stew, good company and happy hearts. 😋

🐄🐑 Theme of the Week: Farm Animals 🚜🌾

This week, our learners explored the wonderful world of farm animals. We learned about the different animals found on a farm, the sounds they make, the food they provide, and the important role they play in our daily lives. From cows and sheep to chickens and pigs, the children thoroughly enjoyed discovering life on the farm. 🐄🐑🐓

🎨 Creative Learning
Our classroom was filled with creativity as the children coloured, painted and completed a variety of farm-themed activities. Through hands-on learning, they developed their fine motor skills while having fun bringing the farm to life with their artwork. ✂️🖍️

🐔 Learning Through Play
As always, there was plenty of time for learning through play. The children enjoyed singing, sharing stories and exploring the week's theme together, making every activity an exciting learning experience. 💛

💚 A Heartfelt Thank You
This week we were also blessed by the kindness of Lerato, who has started volunteering at Frangipani School in her spare time. As if sharing her time wasn't enough, she also generously donated cleaning supplies to our school.

Lerato, thank you for choosing to invest your time, energy and kindness in our Frangipani family. Volunteers like you make a meaningful difference, and we are truly grateful for your generous heart. 🌸🤲

✏️ Uit die Hoof se Pen ✏️

🏗️ Tema van die week: Geboue 🏡🏢

Hierdie week het ons alles geleer oor geboue. Ons het gesels oor die verskillende soorte geboue wat ons elke dag sien, hoe hulle gebou word en watter materiale gebruik word om hulle sterk en veilig te maak. 🧱🪵🏠

🎨 Kreatiewe leer
Soos altyd het ons tema deur kreatiewe aktiwiteite lewendig geword. Die kinders het gesny, geplak, gekleur en geverf terwyl hulle meer geleer het oor huise, geboue en die mense wat help om dit te bou. Elke aktiwiteit het hul fyn motoriese vaardighede sowel as hul verbeelding ontwikkel. ✂️🖍️🎨

👷 Bou en ontdek
Ons het gesels oor bakstene, sement, hout, vensters, dakke en fondasies, en ontdek dat elke gebou eers met goeie beplanning begin voordat dit steen vir steen opgebou word. Die kinders het dit geniet om hul eie idees van geboue te deel en te vertel waar hulle woon. 💭🏡

🍪 'n Bietjie bak en brou
Tussen al die leer deur was daar natuurlik ook tyd vir 'n bietjie bak en brou. Die kinders geniet dit altyd om saam te werk, nuwe ervarings te beleef en sommer ook hul sintuie te gebruik terwyl hulle speel en leer. 👩‍🍳🥣

💚 By Frangipani glo ons dat leer die lekkerste is wanneer kinders kan ontdek, skep en self ervaar. Dit was nog 'n week vol glimlagte, kreatiwiteit en waardevolle leermomente.

✏️ Uit die Hoof se Pen ✏️

🎒 Tema van die week: Terug Skooltoe! 📚

Wat 'n heerlike manier om die nuwe kwartaal te begin! Die opgewondenheid was groot toe ons almal weer by Frangipani Skool kon saamkom. Daar was baie glimlagte, drukkies en opgewonde geselsies toe vriende en personeel mekaar weer sien. 💚

🎉 'n Spesiale afskop saam met Stanley
Ons het die week op 'n feestelike noot begin met 'n lekker partytjie saam met Stanley. Daar was baie pret, gelag en die kinders het elke oomblik geniet. Dit was die perfekte manier om almal weer in die skoolgees te kry! 🥳

🎨 Besoek uit Nederland
Ons was ook ongelooflik bevoorreg om Robert en Sabina van Nederland weer by Frangipani te verwelkom. Hulle het die hele week saam met ons gekuier, met die kinders gespeel en baie kosbare oomblikke saam met hulle gedeel. Terselfdertyd het hulle hard gewerk om ons skool nóg mooier te maak. Ons is opreg dankbaar vir hul liefde, tyd en omgee. ❤️🌍

📖 Terug in die klas
Tussen al die lekker kuier en spesiale oomblikke het ons natuurlik ook weer ingeval met ons skoolwerk. Die kinders het met groot entoesiasme teruggekeer na hul roetines en dit was wonderlik om weer saam te leer, te ontdek en nuwe dinge aan te pak.

✨ Dit was 'n week gevul met vriendskap, dankbaarheid, harde werk en baie vreugde. Ons sien uit na alles wat hierdie kwartaal vir ons inhou!
