June highlights: Mandela Day at Khomanani Disabled Project was a beautiful reminder that change begins when people come together.

We would like to thank Limpopo Community Education and Training College for making this day possible. We were also honoured to be joined by Social Development, Ba-Phalaborwa municipality Higher Health.

Planting seeds together was one of the highlights of the day, symbolising growth, hope, and a better future for our community.

Thank you to everyone who spent their 67 minutes serving others. ❤️

Khomanani Highlights | Part 2

There is something truly special about people coming together to create something that will benefit an entire community.

Khomanani Disabled Project was honoured to welcome representatives from Social Development, who spent the day working alongside our beneficiaries and staff in the garden. Together, we planted seeds that symbolize hope, growth, and a brighter future.

Our garden is more than just a place where we grow food. It is a space that teaches responsibility, encourages teamwork, promotes self-sustainability, and reminds us that every seed planted today can become a source of nourishment tomorrow.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Social Development for taking the time to share this meaningful experience with us. Partnerships such as these continue to strengthen our mission and inspire us to keep moving forward.

Over the next few days, we'll be sharing some of the special moments we've experienced at Khomanani Disabled Project over the past few weeks. We are grateful for every person and organisation that has walked this journey with us.

16 June – Celebrating Youth Day with Phalaborwa VW Crew

On 16 June, Khomanani Disabled Project had the pleasure of celebrating Youth Day with the amazing Phalaborwa VW Crew. Their visit brought smiles, laughter, and a wonderful sense of togetherness to our beneficiaries and staff.

Moments like these remind us that building an inclusive and caring community starts with people who are willing to give their time, encouragement, and presence. We are truly thankful to Phalaborwa VW Crew for sharing this special day with us and for being part of our journey.

Fun, Games & Healthy Smiles at Khomanani!

Today was filled with laughter, energy, and beautiful moments at Khomanani Disabled Projects! 🎉

Our beneficiaries had so much fun playing games that were not only exciting, but also helped with stretching their bodies, improving movement, and promoting a healthy lifestyle 💪🏽🤸🏽‍♀️

From running and stretching to sharing laughs together, it was a reminder that healing, growth, and joy can all happen through play ❤️

Moments like these show the importance of creating safe and happy spaces where everyone feels included, active, and free to express themselves 🌈

Today after lunch, we spent a beautiful moment with our learners dancing, exercising, and simply enjoying each other’s energy. The smiles, laughter, and movement reminded us that music is a language of its own one that brings us together beyond words, differences, or abilities.

Through rhythm and movement, our learners were able to express themselves freely, connect with one another, and release joy in the most natural way. Moments like these show us that learning and healing don’t only happen in classrooms, they also happen throughplay, music, and shared happiness.

At Khomanani, we celebrate inclusion, expression, and wellbeing. Today was a reminder that when the music plays, we all understand each other 💃🏽🕺🏽
