It has come to our attention that there are people out walking their dogs on a leash that have been attacked by dogs that are roaming the streets. Not only are the dogs been attacked but the people too. Take note PLEASE, 1ST get medical attention for you & your pet, 2ND go open a case at SAPS, 3RD contact the SPCA. This is now getting out of hand. The owners of the dogs that are roaming, off the owners premisis is responsible for all medical & vet bills. If you dont open a case within a short time frame you can not claim from the owner. If you see stray dogs Please contact the SPCA, take photos if possible & if you have the owners address it will also help. Who will be responsible if the dog/dogs attacked a child. Lets all stand together & get the dogs out of the streets in our town. No excuse, if you own dogs make sure they can not get out of your property.

Update: We have found a kind hearted gentalman who will take our fosters to Hoedspruit tomorrow. Thank you everyone for sharing our post & offering a lift for the 2 kittens.
Is there anyone driving to Hoedspruit tomorrow that are willing to take 2-3 kittens threw that are being adopted? We would really appreciate it. TIA

A day that communities all over the world come together to commemorate the lives of animals lost at the hands of humans and come together in commitment to work towards a new planet that loves, appreciates and respects that all animals have rights.

A world where animals receive the compassion they deserve, without exploitation, experimentation, suffering. Where they are seen as sentient beings equal to us.

To all those we were unable to save, we remember you, and commit to continuing our plight to do our part for the lives of all animals. Through rescue and education, we continue to have HOPE !

This is what can happen when kittens are given for free. Each one painted a different color with permanent markers, then used as bait for dog fights. People bet on the color of the cat who will survive the longest. This is common!

Only by all of us educating and discouraging free adoptions by ANYONE can we make a dent in this problem.
