β€οΈπŸ–€πŸ’š MANDELA DAY 2026 | MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER πŸ’šπŸ–€β€οΈ

What an incredible and memorable Mandela Day it was!

On behalf of Bagwera ba Dipuku, in partnership with Tlapeng After Care Learning Hub, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who dedicated their 67 minutes and beyond to serving our community.

Although we had planned to paint the classroom walls, our experienced builder advised that the walls first needed to be plastered to ensure a quality finish. We are grateful for his professional guidance, which will help us prepare for the next phase of improving our learning centre.

Our amazing volunteers didn't stop there! They: 🎨 Painted the doors and window frames, giving our centre a fresh new look. 🧹 Picked litter and cleaned the yard, creating a cleaner and safer environment for our children. πŸ“š Read books and shared stories with the children, encouraging a love of reading and learning. 🎲 Played educational games that brought smiles, laughter and joy to everyone.

The day reminded us that Mandela Day is not only about completing projectsβ€”it is about giving your time, sharing your skills and bringing hope to others.

We would like to sincerely thank: 🀝 SACP Mopani District for their invaluable support, labour and commitment to improving our learning centre. πŸŽ™οΈ Mopani FM for partnering with us and helping to share our story with the wider community. πŸ™ Every volunteer, donor, supporter and community member who contributed to making this day a success.

This is only the beginning. We are continuing our journey to create a safe, welcoming and inspiring learning environment for the children of Mashishimale, and we look forward to completing the remaining infrastructure improvements with the support of our community and partners.

Together, we proved that it is still in our hands to make a difference.

Thank you for standing with us.

πŸ’™πŸ“š Father’s Day Tribute to Our Donors & Supporters

This Father’s Day, Bagwera ba Dipuku Reading Club and Tlapeng After Care Learning Hub would like to pause and say thank you to all our donors and supporters.

You may not always be physically present in our classrooms, but your impact is deeply felt in every reading session, every story shared, and every small moment of progress our learners make.

In many ways, you are part of the β€œvillage fathers” of our children’s education β€” offering guidance, support, and resources that help shape their academic journey and future possibilities.

In a time when South Africa is facing a serious reading crisis, your contribution is helping us stand in the gap. Through your support, children who once struggled are now beginning to read with understanding, confidence, and curiosity.

Because of you, we are able to continue building:
πŸ“š A love for reading
πŸ“– Better comprehension skills
πŸ’‘ Stronger engagement in learning
🌱 Hope for brighter academic futures

We do not take your generosity for granted. Every act of support strengthens our mission to improve literacy and give children the tools they need to succeed in life.

πŸ™ Thank you for believing in our work and investing in the future of our learners.
We celebrate you today with deep gratitude and respect.

πŸ’™ Happy Father’s Day to all our donors and supporters β€” your impact goes far beyond what words can fully express.
