Not even rain could stop us from celebrating the environment this World Environmental Day!

Although we were restricted to being indoors due to rain, we learned that small actions can make a big difference in protecting our planet. We learned the role of the 3 Rs to help reduce waste, conserve natural resources, save energy, and keep our environment clean for future generations.

To conclude our day, we indulged in a creative activity where we reused old water bottles and used discarded plastic and scrap paper as decoration.

Today we recognize Endangered Species Day and the importance of protecting the wildlife that shares our planet.

Endangered species face growing threats from habitat loss, climate change, poaching, and human impact. Through conservation, education, and sustainable action, we can help protect biodiversity and ensure these species continue to thrive for generations to come.

Every species plays a role in maintaining balance within our ecosystems and every effort to protect them matters. 🌍🐘🦏💚

Two of our community members participated in a practical Bee-Keeping Training. From understanding hive management to learning about honey production and the vital role bees play in our ecosystem, this training was a powerful step toward empowering our community.

A big thank you to Kevin Melhuish and Phumlani Honi, who facilitated the session, making the experience impactful and inspiring.
