Wits marrow, under the society Uplifted Life, aims to alert people to the procedure of stem cell extraction, and to break the common myths regarding being a donor. E
xtrapolated from a similar NPO in the UK - Nottingham Marrow - Wits marrow hopes to put South Africa and its Bone Marrow Registry on the map. In partnership with the Sunflower Fund, we hope to give cancer patients a chance to find a donor match as quickly and effectively as possible, and to give the person on the street a chance to save a life."
