Something we're really excited to share! 🌿

As our followers know, we pour enormous care into building scientifically accurate 3D models of the animals and plants we share our planet with.

Groomed, rigged, animated, and brought to life in our immersive experiences whether that’s VR, AR, holograms or projection mapping. As accuracy is vital for us, many of our models have science advisors behind them to weigh in with their invaluable knowledge.

Now, some of our assets are available on fab.com! Allowing creators, educators, students, developers, and storytellers to bring these creatures into their own experiences. And most of them are game-engine ready!

And if the animal or plant you need isn't there yet? We take commissions! Tell us what you're looking for. We'll make it.

The world’s most trafficked mammal is finally speaking up.

Today, we launch Wild Voices: Pangolin – a free augmented reality, AI-powered experience that lets you meet and speak with a Temminck’s ground pangolin using your own phone.

And we’re doing it with the incredible team at Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital, who witness the devastating impact of wildlife trafficking on pangolins firsthand and fight daily to return them to the wild.

We built this because conservation cannot succeed at scale without connection.

Most South Africans will never see a pangolin in the wild. So we asked: what if immersive technology could bring one into the home of every South African – ethically, responsibly, and at scale?

150,000 visitors! What an incredible milestone. We can't believe it's been 4 years since the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund opened. Designing and building the immersive theater, and the augmented reality silverback gorilla trek affectionately known as GorillAR, was a dream project – one that continues to unlock human-nature connection potential every single day.

This is the power of permanent installations in scaling empathy and action, and one of the major reasons we decided to build The FutureZoo.

We're excited to announce that we've partnered with the Wits Anglo American Digital Dome, WITS University to screen several of our immersive nature films on their newly-upgraded dome! Screenings start in early February 2026, and will take place twice a month.

The series begins with urgent conservation journeys: a future reshaped by climate collapse in Eden’s Garden, two pangolins struggling to survive the effects of climate change in A Predicament of Pangolins, a frontline mission to protect rhinos through Dehorning a Rhino, and a vibrant ocean voyage in Bazaruto where viewers encounter the rare Dugong.

Also screening in the slot is Kwasukasukela (which we reformatted for domes), a striking reimagining of African creation myths that blends ancient cosmology with bold contemporary visuals to celebrate where our stories begin.

We're extremely proud to showcase our 3D department's amazing creature work!

In 2022, we built an in-house team of modellers, texture & groom artists, riggers and animators to bring lifelike wildlife into the worlds of augmented reality and holograms — part of our mission to democratise access to nature.

You’ve probably seen computer-generated animals in Hollywood films. Our process is just as advanced, except we go the extra mile to ensure every asset performs flawlessly in real-time technologies like VR, AR and holograms for maximum immersion.

Staying faithful to nature in both anatomy and behaviour is core to our work, because realism inspires awe and empathy. We achieve this in part thanks to our voluntary Science Advisors.

Every creature you see was crafted by hand, from the ground up. No AI. Just passion, curiosity, artistry and deep respect for the natural world.
