On 19th April 2025, we hosted a heartwarming and impactful outreach event at a local shelter, where we partnered with another non-profit organization that regularly feeds over 200 children. Our team volunteered to support this initiative by helping prepare and serve meals, and by hosting an uplifting and fun-filled event for the children.

The event was made possible through the generous support of two key stakeholders who sponsored the day’s activities. Their contributions covered food, refreshments, and activity materials, allowing the event to run smoothly and successfully. The sponsors expressed their gratitude for being part of an initiative that directly benefited underprivileged children and aligned closely with their values of community upliftment and social responsibility.

Our volunteers engaged with the children through games, storytelling, and entertainment. The kids were excited, well-fed, and genuinely happy to participate in the activities.

Stakeholders, including the shelter management and the sponsors, described the event as well-organised, impactful, and emotionally rewarding.

The event not only strengthened our relationship with the shelter and other non-profits, but it also highlighted the power of collaboration and community involvement. All stakeholders left with a sense of fulfillment and a shared commitment to continue supporting future initiatives of this nature.

The challenges we encountered when acquiring an online presence for our Non-profit organization:

👉Creating the blog from scratch was difficult to do. We found it difficult to on how to change layouts, adding blog sections, or inserting buttons. We can officially say that our blog is up and running!

👉The quality of the blog depends on its content. We had trouble thinking of updates, which information to use, and stories that would catch interest in our target audiences.

👉Attracting the interest of viewers to visit the blog after it was up was another challenge. Getting more viewers to the site and increasing awareness of our online presence.

👉It was difficult to find sponsors and volunteers to help make a success of the events we hosted. It was difficult to encounter due to our lack of funding and financial support. Nevertheless, the event we recently hosted has been a huge success!

👉Linking our blog to various social media platforms was tricky in the beginning, as some of our links did not seem to work, nonetheless we eventually figured everything out. It’s all up and running!
