September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

CANSA provides comprehensive support for young patients and families. From treatment devices, accommodation during treatment, to adolescent-friendly rooms, palliative care and community education, CANSA’s Tough Living with CANSA (TLC) programme helps children, young people and families cope with a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

You can find out more about our TLC services and work by reading the full media release at: https://cansa.org.za/cansa-surrounds-young-cancer-patients-with-hope-dignity-and-care/

Want to make a difference this month? Join our Wacky Wardrobe Challenge!
How to join:
Wear your wildest, mismatched outfits to spark awareness of childhood cancer and TLC’s services.
Participants pay a minimum donation of R10 on Quicket, take a photo of their wacky outfit, sharing this and a message they can copy and paste on social media, and tagging CANSA. They can challenge others to join in and support CANSA TLC.

Let’s get wacky for a great cause!

Attending the Women's Sport Fiesta Day in Mbekweni, where young girls came together to celebrate sport, teamwork and healthy living.

The talk focused on important cancer awareness topics, including breast cancer awareness and self-examination, the dangers of to***co use.
We believe that empowering young people with the right knowledge can encourage them to make healthier choices and become more aware of their bodies and overall health.
