The winter season in the Paarl valley can be an unbearable one, especially when you're walking to and from school with broken shoes that don't even fit properly.

In celebration of Youth Day, Izibane Social Investment Club kicked off the winter season with our annual Winter School Shoe Drive. Over the span of two weeks the ISIC team visited two schools in our local community to deliver each learner with a brand new pair of school shoes. This year the learners of Amstelhof Primary and Nederburg Primary were the proud beneficiaries. Our hope is that these learners can now brave this winter season.

A special thank you to Audi Centre Paarl, who took the initiative to sponsor each learner of Amstelhof Primary with a warm pair of socks to go with their new winter school shoes.

These are some unseen photos from what has been a great season of school sports thus far.

This past month Izibane Social Investment Club once again had the privilege of supporting two of the most beloved tournaments in
our local community. One of which is The Paulus Joubert Primary School Sevens Tournament on the 25th of April 2026.

We extend a big congratulations to Saron Primary & Paarzicht who were crowned the champions of the Rugby and Netball Tournament, respectively.

This past month Izibane Social Investment Club once again had the privilege of supporting two of the most beloved tournaments in our local community. One of which is The Izibane Chester Williams KN Sevens Tournament which took place on the 18th of April 2026,

Congratulations to Klein Nederburg Secondary whose teams took home both trophies for the Men's & Women's matches.

This past Sunday, our members attended URC Zions to give thanks to God for all that Izibane Social Investment Club has been blessed enough to achieve throughout the years. We thank the community of Zions Church for their warm hospitality and Rev Saaiman for his inspirational message about standing firm in your anointing.💙

This term, the Izibane Mentorship Program 2.0 has kicked off the year with a Study Inspiration Session presented and led by long time Educator, Mr Glenn Samaai, who had the student's eyes glued to the screen.

This group of Mentees are serious about their futures and continue to show increasing interest and growth in our program. The closing message of the session was to trust your wings; the wings you gain from everyone who has invested into you, and everything you have invested into yourself.

Beyond our focus on Youth Development, Izibane Social Investment Club is also committed to community involvement. This past weekend we proudly partook in The CANSA Relay for Life at BoyLouw Sports Grounds.

For 12 hours (18:00-06:00), teams walked through the night to honour those fighting cancer, remember loved ones we have lost, and to celebrate the survivors. 💙💜

On 15 February 2026, Izibane Social Investment Club hosted it's second ever Golf Day.

Despite the Paarl weather heating up the Boschenmeer Golf Course, our 21 teams of 84 players kept their cool in this 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford competition.

Thank you to all the sponsors, players, and the Boschenmeer Team for a flawless day. As always, the ISIC Golf Day serves as fundraiser, of which proceeds are used to invest back into our community and youth development initiatives.
