Three Days of Learning, Connection & Empowerment ✊🏾🌱

What an impactful three-day workshop with MACUA – Mining Affected Communities United in Action. ❤️

We had the opportunity to learn, engage, share experiences and strengthen our understanding of the issues affecting mining communities, particularly the voices and experiences of women.

For Izinyembezi Zabesifazane, partnerships, knowledge-sharing and meaningful community participation are essential to building stronger women and stronger communities.

We leave this workshop reminded that our voices matter, our participation matters, and our communities deserve to be heard.

Together, we continue to Sikhala, Sizama, Siphakama, Siphumelela. ✊🏾❤️

We had the privilege of meeting with Busisiwe from Glencore today to discuss our shared vision for empowering women and uplifting our communities. Strategic partnerships like these fuel our mission and remind us of the power of unity.

Thank you, Glencore, for engaging with grass-roots community initiatives! 🙌🌸

We were honored to be invited to attend the community outreach initiative hosted by Minopex today. Witnessing their team hand out warm blankets and essential grocery buckets to local elderly residents was a powerful reminder of the impact of active corporate social responsibility.

Thank you to the Minopex team for your incredible hospitality and for making a tangible, heartwarming difference in our community.

Every journey of empowerment begins with a single step, a shared story, and a community of support. Today, we are so incredibly proud to officially introduce ourselves to you!
Izinyembezi Zabafazi (which translates to The Tears of Women) was born from a deep-rooted desire to turn pain into power, obstacles into opportunities, and hope into action. We are Emalahleni-based organisation dedicated to upliftment, support, and creating a safe, thriving space for women to grow, lead, and succeed.
From community outreach and skills development to standing hand-in-hand with women from all walks of life, our mission is simple: to empower the hand that rocks the cradle and shapes our future. 🇿🇦✨
What we stand for:
Support & Sisterhood: Creating safe spaces for healing and growth.
Empowerment: Equipping women with the tools, skills, and confidence to thrive.
Community Action: Active, hands-on initiatives to uplift those around us (stay tuned for our upcoming community drives!).
We believe that when you empower a woman, you uplift an entire nation. But we cannot do this alone. We want you to be a part of this beautiful journey with us!
