Philly did the thing. 🐴💚

City Council just voted to ban horse-drawn carriages, and honestly it’s about time. No more horses hauling tourists through traffic in the summer heat. The ban takes effect June 26, with $1,000-a-day fines for anyone who ignores it.
This is what progress looks like. One city choosing compassion over “but it’s tradition.” Next stop, every other city still doing this. 👀

Why is it deemed acceptable to eat pigs and cows but not dogs or cats? Aren't they all equally capable of feeling pain and joy? Isn't this distinction merely a cultural habit, adopted without questioning its moral justification or conducting any true ethical reflection? 🤔🌱
