Different abilities. Equal value. Every child deserves to belong.

A child with Down syndrome does not need our pity. They deserve our respect, our acceptance, equal opportunities and the freedom to participate fully in society.

Behind every diagnosis is a person with dreams, feelings, talents, ambitions and a future worth investing in.

At I Am An African Foundation, we believe that inclusion is not a favour. It is a right.

Let us challenge stereotypes. Let us make our schools, communities, playgrounds and workplaces places where every person is welcomed, supported and valued.

What a great day to be alive, experiencing Mandela Day at the SAA museum was magical … Our children living with disability boarded the Lembombo Boeing aircraft, flying aimulation games, jumping castle , face paint and the storytelling…

Thanks to all our Partners for this event SAA Museum and Gift of the Givers for the life changing event giving a gift of mobility and access = Freedom🌞

A big thank you to our speakers Keynote delivered by Alan Downey of Disability Information South Africa and Dr Wayne Lesiba Letoaba (Nuclear Medicine ), Carol Horgath of Hogarth Art Gallery and speal thank to our volunteers Mega aero training academy you were absolutely amazing our friends Annabelle from thank you for your valuable support , Natalie Elias for the continuous support , APPETD thank you for sharing this onderful day with us 🙏not forgetting our IAMKIND AIRWAYS volunteer cabin crew which are the siblings of children living with disability you served us joy and love thanks to every who attended this amazing event .
