Macambini Republic The aim of this page is to put our tribal homeland of Macambini, which is under tribal authority, back on the economic development map for its inhabitants.

Macambini is one of four rural settlements under Mandeni Local Municipality, which was previously known as éNdondakusuka Local Municipality, and covers the area from the Amatikulu River to a line just south of Mtunzini in the north, and to a line south of the uThukela River just north of Darnall. Hlomendlini, Mathonsi and Ndulinde, are the other three rural settlements among the four that fall und

er the tribal authority of Inkosi. All are underdeveloped and have major backlogs in service provision. The municipality has no capacity to supply the whole area with electricity. Transport infrastructure around the area is well developed, with a high standard of road and rail services into the area. The aim of this page is to put our tribal homeland of Macambini, which is under tribal authority, back on the development map for further community development and economic advancement. This is also an opportunity for people who have emigrated to bigger cities to keep in touch with one another and keep abreast of future plans and developments in Macambini.
