🏉 Suikerbosrand Youth Rugby Club – Valke League Results

It was another exciting weekend for Suikerbosrand Youth Rugby Club as our teams took to the field in the Valke League 23 August with matches played against strong opponents like Brakpan, Boksburg, Springs, and Kempton Park, our players gave it their all — and we couldn't be prouder of each player.
Here’s how each age group performed:
U6 – Draw vs Brakpan White 4 – 4
Our youngest stars had an absolute blast! Winning some, losing some – but more importantly, they’re learning and loving every minute. It’s all about fun, growth, and smiles at this age!
U8 – Two Games Full of Heart
Game 1: 1 – 5 vs Springs White
Game 2: 1 – 4 vs Boksburg Red
Despite two tough results, the U8 team continues to improve weekly. The effort and determination were evident, and the players never gave up. Their confidence is growing, and it’s showing in their performance on the field.
U10A – Win 50 – 0 Brakpan White
A dominant display by our U10A side who continue their strong season with an emphatic 50–0 victory over Brakpan White. A strong showing once again from the U10A team, who are currently sitting in 2nd place on the league log. Great teamwork and dedication are paying off!
U10B – Draw vs Boksburg 7 – 7
A tightly contested match saw the U10B team hold their ground against a competitive Boksburg side, finishing in a 7–7 draw.
Not far behind, the U10B team holds 3rd place on the log. A solid team effort has kept them in contention and building strong momentum.
U11 Competitive Game vs Springs 22 – 34
This match was one for the spectators! Despite a 22–34 loss, the U11s played with passion and showed real grit throughout.
U13 – Win vs Kempton Park 57 – 0
A near-perfect performance by our U13 team who remain 1st on the log after a powerful 57–0 win over Kempton Park.
The U14s had the weekend off, but they’re fired up and ready to take on their first league game this coming weekend.
U16 – Win vs Elsburg 10 – 7
A thrilling match saw our U16 team edge out Elsburg in a 10–7 victory. A strong finish to the game puts them in 2nd place on the current log. The U16s are showing great form and determination.
