π THE MOTHER OF MUSA (AS) β TRUSTING ALLAH
When Musa (AS) was born, Pharaoh was killing the newborn sons of the Children of Israel.
Allah inspired the mother of Musa (AS) with a command that required immense courage and trust.
Allah said:
βAnd We inspired the mother of Musa: βNurse him. But when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear or grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and make him one of the messengers.ββ
π Qur'an 28:7
Imagine the heart of a mother being told to place her precious baby in a basket and set him into the river.
Yet she trusted the promise of Allah.
She did what Allah commanded, and Allah protected Musa (AS).
His own sister followed the basket from a distance, while Allah caused the family of Pharaoh to take Musa (AS) in.
Eventually, Allah returned Musa (AS) to his mother so that her heart could be comforted and she would know that Allah's promise is true.
π Allah says:
βSo We restored him to his mother so that she might be comforted and not grieve, and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of them do not know.β
β Qur'an 28:13
π A BEAUTIFUL REMINDER
Sometimes Allah's command may seem difficult to understand.
Sometimes the situation may look frightening and hopeless.
But when you trust Allah and obey Him, remember that Allah's plan is greater than what you can see.
The mother of Musa (AS) had to let go of what she loved most β but Allah returned her child to her in a way she could never have imagined.
β¨ TRUST ALLAH.
What you surrender to Allah is never lost.
π€² May Allah strengthen our hearts, increase our trust in Him, protect our families, and help us remain patient during every difficult test.
Ameen.
