Daar is onlangs 3 fietse op n plaas naby Naboomspruit gesteel. Tydens die ondersoek het dit duidelik geword dat een persoon al 3 fietse gesteel het en hulle weg gesteek het in die bos.

Dinsdag is daar inligting ontvang dat die laaste fiets daai aand sou geskryf word van waar dit gebere is in die bos na die Lokasie.

Die inligtig is geoperasionaliseer en daar is n taktiese plan beraam met die hulp van LHP, GPF, Afriforum en Landelike Veiligheid en die plan is in aksie gesit.

Woensdag in die oggend ure is die verdagte betrap met die laaste fiets en hy het toe die ander fietse gaan uitwys in die lokasie.

Die totale waarde van die gesteelde fietse is ongeveer R150 000

Baie dankie aan almal wat die koue getrotseer het om seker te maak geregtigheid geskied.

Information was received from Limpopo Murder and Robbery that a vehicle that committed robbery was on the N1 heading southbound.

The vehicle was spotted close to Mookgophong and a successful Takedown was performed by Flying Squad and Waterberg LHP.

4 suspects were arrested and 2 unlicensed fi****ms recovered.

Location: Naboomspruit

On the morning of January 18, Spoorvat Security Services, in collaboration with Rural Safety Naboomspruit, responded to a stock theft incident at Grootvalley.

We successfully traced the movement of the stolen goats through neighboring farms, covering approximately 4 km over the N1. Subsequently, we located some of the goats and sheep, suspecting that a vehicle had loaded some of them. An ear tag, which had been removed, was also recovered during the operation.

A total of 22 animals out of the 35 reported missing were successfully recovered. Stock Theft Unit responded to both scenes, and we are hopeful that arrests will follow.

An intelligence driven operation led to the arrest of 3 suspects, the recovery of stolen property and the recovery of the vehicle used in the crime.

Information was received that the suspects was busy steeling on a farm in the Mookgophong area. The team decided to wait for them to come out with the vehicle and catch them in town.

We attempted to stop the vehicle but it sped of. Members gave chase and the driver lost control crashing into a fence.

A foot chase ensued and we managed to apprehend all 3 suspects.

They have been terorizing the tinmyn area for a long time and we feel confident that they will be linked to a few cases.

Naboom Rural Safety Track & Trace Team was asked for assistance to locate two trailers that was stolen from a farm in the Sterkrivier area on Sunday. The trailers was located and determined that they are on their way to Middelburg.

With the help of our vast crime fighting network, members were activated in Middelburg and the vehicle was located that was moving the stolen trailers. The members managed to stop the vehicle and arrest 3 of the 6 suspects in the mv.

Possession suspected stolen property

On 2022-08-04 at around 08:00 lookout was received about a silver Ford Figo, Reg no ****GP that was involved in House Robbery at Norwood, CAS 65/03/2022 refers.

The vehicle was spotted between Bela Bela and Kranskop and members deployed to N1 to look out for the car. The vehicle was spotted by one of our Rural Safety members and followed with an unmarked bakkie while arrangements were made to stop the car and execute a successful arrest. The vehicle was stopped by Traffic on N1 for speeding and we used the opportunity to box in the car and arrest the suspects.

Information was received that a vehicle that was possibly involved in a robbery in Muswodi Case 43/06/2022 on a farm were a Hilux was stolen was on its way back to Gauteng.

Rural Safety Naboom acted on the information and activated role players in the area to assist in stopping the vehicle and arresting the suspects.

Naboomspruit unplanned Rural Safety operation led by Capt du Plessis from 21:00.

Information received about possible copper theft and suspected vehicle is heading towards Mookgopong from Marken area.

Naboom Rural Safety members deployed for assistance and vehicle was stopped at entrance of Mookgopong. Vehicle was searched and 20 x 40kg of potato bags found at the back of the vehicle. Driver and his passanger could not gave reasonable explanantion and alledged that they bought it from one of the farmers. Farm owner was contacted and with further investigation it was found that the farm worker is selling potatoes during the night without the owers concent. Value R6000-00.

Naboomspruit case for Possession of suspected stolen goods open with 2 arrests and one Immigration act. Further case for Theft will be open during the day by complainant to link the three suspects. Case dockets not yet registered as CAS system is off line.

Information received about possible copper cabel theft sindicate that will target closed down sub station at Boekenhout.

Special Operation Members from Naboomspruit Rural Safety and Mokopane Rural Safety was deployed and observation was conducted.

Operation led to the arrest of one suspect, Soma Kurango, 33 years old from Bosman Pretoria. Copper to the value of R200 000.00 found in possession of suspect, Unfortunatly four other suspects got away.

Rural Safety Naboom responded to a farm attack on a smallholding just outside Mookgophong after receiving voice notes of the victim in a state of panic saying there are people inside her house.

We rushed to the scene while activating other groups as well as ambulance services and Police.

Arriving on the scene we were informed that the suspects have already fled. Senyaka Nyaka tried to track the suspects but lost track in the thick bush.

Everyone stood down from the scene.

The next day we received information of a man looking for water on a nearby smallholding. We activated again and found the man. After questing him, he admitted guilt and told us the whole story as well as showed us what happened.
