One of our clients in Muldersdrift activated their panic buttons after one of their workers was hijacked just outside their business premises.

Interactive Security responded swiftly, and the vehicle was successfully recovered in Mansieville.

The South African Police Service says it has seized counterfeit goods worth more than R17 million and arrested 16 suspects during nationwide operations conducted last month. Police spokesperson Amanda van Wyk said that the operations led to the confiscation of large quantities of counterfeit and illicit products, including branded clothing, sports apparel, cellphone accessories, toys, pharmaceuticals, and consumables, as well as counterfeit alcohol and ci******es.

"We extend our sincere appreciation to all participating departments, various law enforcement agencies, and key stakeholders for their continued collaboration and commitment to combating the illegal trade in counterfeit, contraband, and illicit goods," she noted.

*🚨🔥 GATE MOTOR THIEVES CAUGHT IN THE ACT 🔥🚨*

Following critical intelligence received from SAPS Highway Patrol members regarding suspects targeting properties in the Kenmare area, units were dispatched after information revealed the suspects had moved into Noordheuwel with the intention of stealing additional gate motors.

An intensive search operation was launched, with members strategically saturating the area in an effort to intercept the suspects before more thefts could take place.

Within a short period, the suspect vehicle was successfully identified and tactically intercepted. Members moved in swiftly, resulting in the successful apprehension of two suspects on scene.

Multiple stolen gate motors were recovered and secured as evidence, effectively bringing the suspects’ criminal activities to an abrupt end.

Please take note that the Hartbeespoort dam wall will be closed between 07:00 on Monday 11 May 2026 to Saturday 16 May 2026 at 16:00 and again from 07:00 on Monday 18 May 2026 until Saturday 23 May 2026 at 16:00.
Motorists are asked to please use alternative routes for the 2-week duration of the closure.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure for purposes of maintenance work on and around the dam wall.
