The ocean is medicine.
Surf therapy delivers measurable change: physical, psychological and emotional well-being, social connection and confidence for participants living with ASD, cerebral palsy, spinal injuries, Down syndrome, depression, anxiety and amputations.
This is evidence-based health promotion, delivered in one of the most powerful therapeutic environments on earth….OUR OCEAN.

What if a day at the beach could change a lifetime? Through structured surf therapy clinics, inclusive beach days, para surf events and ongoing volunteer training, we create spaces where the ocean becomes a place of freedom, not limitation.

Your support helps us provide transport to the beach, warm meals, equipment, coaching, research and training that directly impact participants and their families, while advancing key Sustainable Development Goals like Reduced Inequalities and Good Health & Wellbeing.

If you would like to help us keep changing lives through the ocean, you can donate, or sponsor a surf therapy session ~ every contribution make the world of difference 🩡

The Roxy Davis Foundation stands on seven key pillars, each contributing to a more inclusive, empowered and resilient community through ocean-based initiatives.

Mentorship & Leadership focuses on developing individuals who can positively influence their communities and drive meaningful social change. This pillar provides structured mentoring, guidance, and leadership training aimed at building confidence, responsibility, and purpose among participants.

Through mentorship, individuals receive personal support and direction to navigate challenges, set goals and develop essential life and professional skills. Leadership training complements this by equipping participants with tools to manage teams, facilitate programmes, and advocate for inclusion both within and beyond their local communities.
The initiative is designed to nurture future leaders who reflect the Foundation’s values of empathy, inclusion and resilience. By fostering a supportive environment, the Roxy Davis Foundation ensures that every participant not only benefits personally but also contributes to a cycle of mentorship and empowerment that strengthens the wider community.

We asked our community to share one word about their experience. This is what came back.
Each word holds a story and together, they remind us why access to the ocean matters and how powerful it can be when people are truly seen, supported, and included.
Thank you to every person, family, volunteer, and partner who shapes this space. The ripple continues.
