Rotary District 9370 proudly joins the global movement to celebrate World Bee Day and raise awareness about the critical role bees and other pollinators play in sustaining our planet.

Though small in size, bees make an enormous impact on biodiversity, food production, and environmental sustainability. Protecting pollinators means protecting our future.

This World Bee Day, let us work together to:

Today we celebrated 9 years since our charter and the official opening of our Rotary Centre.

Thank you to our OG Rotarian guests as well as Amanda from Richards Bay Rotary Club who joined us.

Thank you too to the incredible members of the Mtunzini Rotary who always turn up and made this day happen. (Even when the president was 'lost in a forest' for a few hours)

Last night we hosted the Richards Bay Rotary Club and Rotary Club of Empangeni for a social bowls night at the Mtunzini Bowling Club.

It's safe to say that good fun was had by all.
We are happy recipients of the Rotary fellowship floating trophy.

We look forward to many more social with the club's in our area.

The Rotary Club of Mtunzini in partnership with Umhlathuze Pharmacy hosted Dr. KUNENE for a skin screening day.

The village came out and socialised patiently in the queue while Dr. did full a screenening for anything that looked like it needs attention.

It was a wonderful day of community care and interaction.

The wonderful ladies from the Umhlathuze Pharmacy also did blood pressure and blood sugar checks while Justin and Sister Madeleine did some education and handed out sunscreen samples.
