Today we celebrated 50 years in cycling with our stakeholders, suppliers and partners in cycling. Premier Alan Winde unveiled the PPA 50th Anniversary plaque at our office in Mowbray.

A huge thank you to Liezel van der Westhuizen, our Safe Cycling brand ambassador, who was our MC for the morning. Thank you to Minister Isaac Sileku and our chairman Steve Hayward, vice chairman Gordon Laing and Golazo South Africa COO David Bellairs for sharing the history of the PPA with everyone.

The Premier listed some core values of the PPA which the Western Cape Government shares with us to promote cycling as a means of transport in Cape Town.
