Last Thursday, the Siyaphakama U11 League Finals brought together young athletes from across our programme for a day filled with teamwork, determination and unforgettable moments on the field.

But the success of the day goes far beyond the results.

Siyaphakama, meaning "We Are Rising", is built on the strength of collaboration between the Kolisi Foundation, United Through Sport, KaziBantu and Ubuntu Pathways. Together, we're creating opportunities for children to grow through sport, education, nutrition and holistic development.

The league finals were a powerful reminder that meaningful impact happens when organisations come together around a shared vision for young people.

Thank you to every learner, coach, teacher, and partner who made the day possible.

From community kitchens to impact, one meal at a time.

Volunteers rise early to cook and serve. Each plate does more than ease hunger. It restores dignity, strengthens households and allows children to focus at school and on the sports field.

We support 36 community kitchens to ensure consistent access to nutritious meals. Every meal is a step towards lasting change.

We work through integrated focus areas because real change is connected.

Through daily school breakfasts in our Siyaphakama Zwide Schools Project, we help learners start their day nourished and ready to learn.

Through food hampers supplied to organisations and shelters supporting survivors of gender-based violence, we help create stability during one of the most vulnerable times in a survivor’s journey.

Food is not just nutrition.
