The Mossel Bay Municipality is aware of fraudulent WhatsApp messages and calls circulating, claiming that municipal accounts are in arrears and that immediate payment is required to avoid disconnection.
This is a scam.
Please note:
* The municipality does NOT request payments via WhatsApp or unofficial email addresses.
* No municipal official is authorised to collect payments in the field.
* Payments to the municipality are only accepted through official channels, including:
1. Municipal pay points
2. Approved electronic banking platforms
❌ Do not make any payments to unknown individuals or numbers.
✅ Block the number immediately and ignore the message.

🎄 CHRISTMAS DECORATION DONATIONS NEEDED 🎁

Hi everyone!

As part of our initiative to fill our police stations with festive joy this holiday season, we are kindly asking for donations of Christmas decorations. ✨

Anything big or small will make a difference 🎄 lights, baubles, tinsel, ribbons, ornaments, garlands, or any décor you no longer use. Your contribution will help us create a warm and uplifting atmosphere in a place where many people walk through the doors on some of their toughest days.
