Table View Pony Club

Table View Pony Club Pony Club is an international voluntary youth organisation for young people interested in ponies and riding. We are situated in Morning Star, off the N7

Pony club is a club for all young horse enthusiasts who want to learn more, enjoy
all the benefits PC can give as well as get together with other like minded youngsters.(25)
It aims to teach the correct manner of horsemanship and riding. It falls under the guide-lines of the British Pony Club, where it was foundered. As it has grown, it has spread all over the world, and South Africa has a st

rong following. It is divided into regions, with branches in each suberb. ie: Paarl, Durbanville, Tokia etc. As we fall under the ‘umbrella’ of Table View, we will become a sub-branch of Table View.

We love a spot the difference...can you find the six hidden in this image from our Tetrathlon at The Pony Club Championships last year? (We think one particular difference might be a challenge!👀)

No cheating in the comments - good luck!

A healthy mouth is essential for a happy, comfortable pony — and it’s something every horseperson should understand.

The Ponies’ Teeth and Equine Dentistry badges build knowledge from the basics through to recognising more complex dental needs.

💙 Mini Badge: Ponies’ Teeth
Members learn how ponies use their teeth, the difference between incisors and molars, and why regular dental checks are important to prevent discomfort.

💙 Achievement Badge: Equine Dentistry
At a more advanced level, members explore dental structure in detail, recognise potential problems, and understand what a vet or equine dentist looks for during routine care.

Because small details — like sharp edges or sore mouths — can make a big difference to a pony’s wellbeing and performance.

What you feed your pony — and how you feed them — plays a vital role in their health, wellbeing, and performance.

The Feeding a Pony and Feeding badges help members build knowledge from everyday basics to a deeper understanding of nutrition.

💙 Mini Badge: Feeding a Pony
Members learn essential daily tasks, from feeding safely and recognising basic feeds, to understanding the importance of water and fibre in a pony’s diet.

💙 Achievement Badge: Feeding
At a more advanced level, members develop a broader understanding of feeding principles — recognising different feed types, understanding good forage, and applying the basic rules of feeding and watering.

Because getting the basics right every day makes all the difference to your pony’s health and happiness.

Working with horses doesn’t stop at the stable — and understanding how to stay safe in the field is a vital part of horsemanship.

The Field Safety badges teach Pony Club members how to handle real-life situations with awareness and confidence.

💙 Mini Badge: Field Safety
Members learn essential safety basics, from understanding pony behaviour in the field to knowing how to approach, catch, and handle ponies safely with the right support.

💙 Achievement Badge: Field Safety
At a more advanced level, members develop a deeper understanding of potential risks — from feeding in the field to managing groups of ponies — and how to minimise danger in different situations.

Because good horsemanship is as much about staying safe as it is about riding well.
