Inside This Trust

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You.” Psalm 5:11a

Inside this trust I have in God

Is a place where I am safe

Hopes and dreams live and grow

Heart’s desires slowly unfold

Faith learns how to take each step

Day by day as I follow Him

The best place to be in a relationship with the Lord is a place of complete trust. When I understand God is sovereign and has my best interests at heart, there is no better place to be than a safe and secure trusting walk with the Lord.

When we seek Him first and trust Him with all our heart, the details of our lives fall into the perfect places He has prepared for us. While we have been trying to figure out what to do next, He already holds all the answers and He asks us to join with Him and walk a road of complete faith and fully surrendered lives.

Trust God with every care, big and small, casting them into His hands and leaving them there. Let go of fretting and learn to trust your heavenly Father, and you will find a depth of relationship you didn’t know was possible before. Whatever comes your way, whatever crosses your path, in your heart you must say and believe,

“Lord, I trust you with this, completely, this is in Your hands, Your perfect hands.”

It isn’t always easy to do or the natural way our thinking wants to take us, but as one who has walked with the Lord a very long time I can testify that this choice, this action of complete trust has grown my faith to a deeper and steadfast place in my mind, heart, and soul.

I have found that my life holds the most peace and joy when I choose to dwell inside this trust I have in God.

As the greater call is upon our shoulders....season for harvest....so also is the devil aware of the great threshing and is ready to do and use anything to win over the people of God......but neither in all this thing's we will win ....and upon us Victory has been promised....Time to hide in the secret place so that we win by Jesus in the public.....choosing he who died and rose again in power and his name being given all authority that at the call of his name all knees shall bawl....

1Timothy 3:16 says that without question, the greatest mystery of our faith is this: “God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up (taken to heaven) in glory.”

Jesus came to earth to show us exactly what eternal life with the Father looks like! He demonstrated that glorious truth in a way that we could clearly know, see, hear and touch the Father through Him. Then, He personally made a way for us to live in that reality, just as He did, while we are living here on earth! The finished work of the cross took away the sin barrier that prevented us from personally knowing God and being filled with His Presence in our lives. Jesus destroyed the work of the devil which brought about that separation, and He stripped him of his power and authority over us. In truth, Jesus took that authority and put it right back into our hands!

God knows what is best.
No struggle will come your way apart from his purpose, presence, and permission. What encouragement this brings! You are never the victim of nature or the prey of fate. Chance is eliminated. You are more than a weather vane whipped about by the winds of fortune. Would God truly abandon you to the whims of drug-crazed thieves, greedy corporate raiders, or evil leaders? Perish the thought!

We live beneath the protective palm of a sovereign King who superintends every circumstance of our lives and delights in doing us good.

Nothing comes your way that has not first passed through the filter of his love.

When we begin to feel overwhelmed by the pressure around us, Take time to separate yourself from the stress and trouble you’re facing by coming into the presence of God. Let His Word refresh your soul, and give you a clear perspective of His will, protection and provision for you. Allow His Spirit to strengthen your inner man as He reminds you of His truth. Then you’ll be reinforced and ready to go on in His strength and His peace. His joy in your heart will cause you to face each challenge triumphantly in His grace, because you have chosen to make the time to rest in Him.

Hebrews 4:2 that the Word of God did not profit those who heard it, because it was not mixed with faith. It’s not just reading and hearing the Word that gives us access to its benefits, it’s the diligent application of the Word in faith that opens our lives to its blessings. If we want to unlock the riches of God’s favour, then we must live in a way that honours the Lord - in all things. There’s no sense in limiting the flow of God’s blessing in our lives by choosing selective obedience.

Philippians 3:10, Paul speaks about this determined purpose: to know the Person of Jesus more; to know the power of His resurrection; and to share in His sufferings. All of which would cause us to be completely transformed into the likeness of Jesus. The sufferings Jesus and Paul are referring to have nothing to do with punishment for sin, nor anything Jesus overcame on the cross. That was a burden only He was worthy to die for. Rather, the suffering we all need to go through is resisting the kingdom of darkness that oppose everything Jesus paid for to see us live in. 1 Peter 5:8-10 speaks of this very truth. We are warned to be extremely vigilant concerning our adversary, the devil, and his intention to destroy every good thing God has done. We are to constantly resist him, stand our ground in faith, and push back the kingdom of darkness in the authority Jesus has given us, in spite of the persecution it will entail. It means laying down our own agendas, popularity, and will to the Lord, and living completely for Him and His cause!
