We recently had an impactful session with Grade 4 and Grade 6 learners in Nolitha primary School, focusing on mental health and substance abuse awareness. It was a great opportunity to empower these young minds with knowledge and skills to make informed decisions and prioritize their well-being.

A big shoutout to our ambassadors for leading engaging and thought provoking discussions! 🙌 We're committed to supporting learners' holistic development.

Today we had an educational picnic with Injongo Yesizwe White door center of Hope, Small projects foundation Nceba primary School, Zamayirha Culturalgroup. It was indeed a therapeutic picnic as we were enjoying ourselves discussing the of Substance Abuse and trying to find new ways to fight these substances in our community.

As we were enjoying the picnic we did paintings in our paintings we were expressing how we felt about the issue in hand.

Today we implemented at JSFHS whereby Mr Msindisi Tyhapha came and shared his journey with Grade 9 students telling them how Drugs almost ruined his future and his life but he managed to get out and now he's living his best life without any use of substances.... After the session we got in to the field and played 3 games enjoying ourselves after the implementation.

Learning is fun, and having fun is part of learning. Substance abuse prevention is a very hard topic especially for children in lower grades. Harvest outreach centre came up with the strategy of using costumes like (Superman, clowns, and doctors) to send awareness about substance abuse in primary schools. Here’s to a glimpse of what warm preparations look like 😂😂 and fun can go together abuse awareness!
