The 9th Day Animal Rescue Centre

The 9th Day is a rescue, rehabilitation & rehoming centre for abused, neglected and stray animals. We are a registered NPC based in Krugersdorp, Johannesburg South Africa founded by Charmaine Booysens in January 2015. We rescue the forgotten, heal the broken and love the unloved. All our animals get vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and sterilized. The 9th Day is pro-life, which means the only

time an animal will be send to heaven is if a veterinarian determines there is no way to save him/her. WE ARE THE BRIDGE OF WHAT WAS AND WHAT CAN BE. WE ARE THEIR PATHWAY TO A SECOND CHANGE. Whilst educating the poorer communities in and around Krugersdorp we also assist with sterilizations and vet care for their pets. We are
currently the only rescue centre in Krugersdorp and Roodepoort that focus on stray animals and offer assistance to the less fortunate. Together WE are The 9th Day. Together we can continue to rescue those who have no one and nowhere else. Welcome to The 9th Day family!
